The Receiving Clerk is responsible for all inbound dock operations within the distribution center, including manually unloading floor-loaded containers and freight, verifying and inspecting incoming product, processing purchase order receipts, and documenting discrepancies. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role: a significant portion of the shift is spent moving freight by hand out of containers and trailers into the warehouse, with approximately 30% of the time spent operating either forklifts, powered pallet jacks, and other equipment to move and stage inbound material.
